The Temperance Seven

New release: Alive and Gigging CD

In keeping with the White Heat of today's Technology, we offer our latest Cylindrical Dossier (CD).

CD cover

Time......... 1957......... 2007......... What happened in between these Two Great Calendar Points in the Firmament of Jazz History? Why of course, the Genesis of a Group of Magnificent Maelstromatic Musical Maestros: The Temperance Seven - Kreators of Kaleidoscopic Kuts of Cacophonous Keepsakes, Kings of Korn, Karma (and Korma).

Time..........was it really all those years ago when the Band's Pogo Stick broke down on the Hard Shoulder of the B2038, and they had to Avail Themselves of the C.C.C. (The Cooper Collective Charge) to be Ferried to the Gig Individually on The Aforesaid's Pedal Clarinet. (It was only on the Last Journey when Cooper's Clarinet Packed in and the Pedalling Entrepreneur had to Summon out the RAC to Change the Reed)?

Time.......... was it really the Occasion when the Colonel's Braces got Caught in the Escalator at The Cafe Royal? Some Catapult! Or when the Good Doctor made his Personal Fortune by Selling his Bakelite Trusses to Japanese Sumo Wrestlers?

Time.......... did we really Imagine the Marquis of Piccadilly Failing into a Vat of Scottish Water at the Auchtermuchty Distillery and drinking his Way Out? Or Captain Buckley leading his Team to a remarkable Cricketing Victory over the St Dunstan's All-Star XI by scoring 957 not out?

Time.......... The Memories are Endless.......... the Recollections Infinite.......... And yet this Band Continue to Create More Memories for Future Generations, Flushing the Limitless Boundaries of Hot Jazz Further into the Musical Cosmos.......... Forward.......... Onward.......... Upward.......... Fifty Years

Time..........
